  • Chlorine
  • Chloramines
  • Heavy Metals
  • 45 other VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds

Provides drinking quality water for your pond and fish! Designed for easy installation onto any standard male hose thread fitting will effectively filter the majority of harmful chlorine and chloramines from city water.

Pond Fresh garden hose filters have a high-tech alloy media and specially treated carbon to reduce both chlorine and chloramines. If there is sediment in the water, it is highly recommended that you pre-filter the sediment with a simple sediment filter to prevent PF filter from clogging. It takes time for these chemicals to absorb onto the surface of the medias. If the filters clog, you may back flush it to remove accumulated sediment. To back flush the unit use 1/4" x 3/8" adaptor to attach the garden hose adaptor to the outlet end of your filter. This back flushing process is effective unless the water contains a high amount of very fine sediment. Very fine sediment cannot be back flushed out.
